Does anybody know...

...a source for a good tutorial, or perhaps a filter, for achieving a curled edge to a corner of a page?

Appreciating your advice!!

Thanks!
Deborah.

Here's a filter that costs, but it's pretty cool. I downloaded the demo to try it out and it works great, but I didn't purchase it because I just don't think I'd use it enough to justify the price. (Besides which, my psp already has a functional page curl effect.)av page curl filter

Janee has a tut that you might glean a little info from, but it's not exactly a simple task.

I tried so many tuts and was never extatic about the results. I bought the AV page curl, and true, don't use it a great deal, but for the time I do it really works well.

I just use Lauren Bavin's technique, the best and easiest I've seen. Cut the corner off, flip it, and use Liquefy filter to curve it and Burn to get the shading. Her tutorial covers it a lot better, with screen shots

I also bought AV page curl. Don't use it much but find it well worth the price for when I do use it. Very easy.

Thanks ladies!

I don't think I'd use the AV tool enough is to justify the expense, but thanks for that link.

I'll try Janee's and Lauren Bavin's tutorials.

Dianna, could you let me know what you use in PSP? I have PSP CS.

Thanks again!
Deborah.

Sure! I have both psp7 and 8 and I haven't opened them in awhile but I am pretty sure there is a page curl effect under the effects menu....thinking it might be a submenu listed within an effects category......not sure. Oh heck, I'll just open it and check...don't want my program to get rusty! Yes, in psp8 it is here: Effects/Image Effects/Page Curl. HTH!

I just did a search for Lauren's tutorial and couldn't find anything. Also did a search in tutorials for "page curl" and nada! Can someone tell me where to find it? I can't seem to get the free version of the AV plug-in to work.
