Hello, I am brand new to Photoshop, so I apologise for the dumb questions!

I just did the tutorial and created my very first computer layout, and learnt heaps!!

I am starting to attack my second layout, and already have a question!! How do I resize a photo? I can crop it, but I actually want to reduce its size. When I tried, it reduced the entire layouts size...

try CTRL+T to bring the Transform Menu up.
