I have a slightly different question, although very much related to this thread, so I thought I'd post it here...

Once I've cropped, should I be using resize or something like that to get to the desired final picture size on the LO?

Example: if the LO requires a 2x3 photo and cropped its 3x5 from it's original size, I think I use resize with constrains to get to the final size?

I hope you can understand my question. I'm afraid I may not be asking clearly.

Again, disclaimer- LOL-I have PS4.

If I know that I need a 2x3 photo- I would crop it that way either straight from the huge photo or after you resized the image. Just be sure to save as a photoshop image every time - not jpeg- so you don't lose quality! (if you want to save)

To crop a 2x3:
Click on the crop icon (hidden behing the marquee tool)
Click on the tool window (or whatever it's called- can't think of the name) that has Navigator/Info/Options (if you can't find it click Window and Show Options)
Click Options and you should see Cropping tool options
Check the Fixed Target Size box
Enter your dimensions
Crop the shape
Move it around if you need to

I'm sure this is much easier in PS7, but hopefully this is similar.

I hope this is what you were asking?!
