If PSE has this feature...make sure that your intended brush is the only thing on the page...then go to edit...define brush. It will now show up at the bottom of the brush index. To save it delete all the other brushes (use the trick i put in the jan ezine) then click the little arrow on the right and hit save.

Cool -thanks Amanda.

Does that mean I can open any picture/object and make it into a brush? Or do I have to prep it somehow like with a certain color, size, file format, etc?

Anything can be made into a brush...but just remember, brushes don't retain dimension, styles, highlights, coloring etc.

Smile Custom Brushes

I create all my brushes right now by opening up a picture, say of some flowers....then I use the lasso tool to select just the rose, or whatever I want to become the brush. Then, I just go to Edit>Define Brush. It is wonderful to be able to create "anything"!! Hope that helps, too!
