I had to reload photoshop elements 5 on my computer after my hard drive crashed. Before this, I was able to do an external edit to photoshop CS2 and after I was done, when I closed the file, the file in the organizer was no longer being "externally edited" (meaning the red line across the file wasn't there). Now I have to manually cancel the external edit. This wouldn't be so bad, but I usually don't use items from just one kit and I like to have multiple files open so I end up having to search for the files I have opened into photoshop. It is quite a pain. Is there anyway to fix that? I don't remember ever having to fix it before. TIA

oh my. I've not done external edits. So I don't know your answer. But I'll see if I can figure it out. Hopefully, someone else does this and can help.
