This thread was a big help. I just installed some photo actions into PSE 5. They work, but the thumbs show up seperately, so for two actions, there are four thumbnails. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? Oh, and I'm using Vista.
|
I think, but am not sure that this is just the way it is with PSE 5.0. I don't think you did anything wrong, just be sure to click on the right box when running your action. My actions are all like this and they work fine. Anyone have a solution?

Thanks, Neisha. So, if that's just PSE 5, and they are useless anyway, can I just delete the thumbs? I'm always clicking on them by mistake, if they were not there, it would be easier.

When my directions said to rename the file "thumbs", I kept replacing the last file, so I don't have any thumbs and it works fine for me. I can tell by the name what it is.

It should work- I have PSE 5. I have each action in it's own folder, with a thumbs file in it as well...
Did you reboot PSE while holding the shift key to rebuild everything?

That must be my problem. Each action is not in it's own folder, they are all in one. How do you reboot? Do you hold the shift, close PSE, then reopen all while holding down the shift key?

I'll try rebooting while holding down the shift key. Thanks!
