Well, you need to select a drop shadow first from the effect palette before you can adjust it. (Yes, it was grayed out because there was nothing to adjust.) Dah, these things probably are common sense to everyone, but I've just started with PSE so it's a little hard getting my mind out of PSPX mode. At least I don't have to go back to PSPX everytime that I want a shadow now. Thanks so much for your help, LaWanna, and great tutorial on your blog!
