Changing ribbon shape?

Hello,
I am looking to take a ribbon that is straight and make it into a circular shape. Is there any way to do this in PSE4? I looked through the tutorials and didn't see anything. It seems like this should be an easy thing to do, but I can't seem to find a way to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
Kristen

first resize your canvas
image -> resize -> canvas size
make the canvas square - in other words change the height to match the width

next, double the height of your ribbon
use CTRL+T and then enter in 200% in the H box that comes up below your menu bar - then click on the check mark further to he right ... if you don't do this step, the circular ribbon will be half the size of the original

finally - use filter -> distort -> polar coordinates, select rectangle to polar

this takes quite a bit of RAM so hopefully you can do it~

shellyrae - this works equally well with text too -- you just have to rotate the text 180 degrees before doing the polar coordinates...and it also has to be on a square canvas
