Angry HELP! PSE2 move tool question!

Whenever I use my move tool and drop a file onto another page, it brings it in HUGE. Like way bigger than it is on its original file.

So for example, I will take a 12x12 paper, drag it onto a 12x12 new file, and it comes in insanely large, taking several minutes to size down to the correct size.

PLEASE HELP! Any ideas, I have been searching online and going through everything I can think of!

When you create a new 12x12 file, what do you set the resolution to? Most things are created as a 300 dpi file, which if you create your page as 300 dpi, it should be the correct size. HTHs!

Try doing a quick "cheat"
Right-click on the layer you want to move into your main layout.
Select "Duplocate Layer" and then change the "destination" to the main layout's name.
This duplicates the whole layer without dragging and dropping.

Not sure why, but this method has always been faster (even before computer upgrades).
Good Luck, and let us know if anything helps.
