PSE4 or PSE5?

For those of you who were working (or are working) with PSE4, did you, or will you, upgrade to PSE5? If so, can I hear/see some of the pros and cons to that?

I have the trial download, and I want to know if this is worth the bucks to upgrade. I do like that I have some (limited) curves adjustement for my photos, but are there going to be big cons to working with this program as opposed to 4.0?

Thanks!

Chere

From the few reviews I read I was going to wait until the next upgrade but then I saw some of the new features and was sold. Lots of flexibility with shadow options. I haven't had PSE 5 very long but I am really pleased. There are some things I discovered you can do by accident in PSE 5 that also are benefits but haven't seen if that same thing will work in PSE 4. Haven't had a chance to explore much but I have no regrets at all so far.

For me.. its usually about product speed and memory usage. I've found PSE 5 to be much better than PSE 4 in those terms.. Of course add'l features are nice too.

Except for PSP.. I always upgrade my packages when a new version is released if it is something I use daily... like CS2, Idimager, Plugins, etc.

i hated pse 4!! LOL! (subtle - NOT!) after stuggling w/it, i acutally ended up uninstalling it and went back to pse 3...and since it seemed like little was talked about pse 4 and how quickly pse5 has come out - i don't think i was the only one! LOL

go for pse5, i played w/it, and it looks pretty cool!

I have every version of PSE and I have PS 7, and PSCS2

When it comes to PSE, I prefer 5.0. It has a magic pen that is soooo much easier then the magic lasso!!! That one thing sold me on 5.01!!

I upgraded from Elements 1 to 3. I must have had a mental block to 3 and finally uninstalled and went back to 1. I finally got the nerve for PSE 5. Love it! Maybe I got over the mental block.

I find it much easier to use/learn. Still learning and having fun.

I downloaded a trial version of 5. Some of the new things seem to be good for scrapbooking. The Artwork and Effects section looks pretty neat. Would if be worth buying the upgrade just for that? I love the frames and picture edges and themes, etc. I have PSE 4 and PSCS2 and3. Where is the curves adjustment located?
