The color curves adjustment is under Enhance>Adjust Color>adjust color curves. I haven't used the artwork and special effects (themes, backgrounds, frames etc) pallette of PSE 5 that much yet so I wouldn't buy the upgrade just for that feature. I do love the flexiblity with drop shadow control in PSE 5 over PSE 4. That was the selling feature for me. Plus have stumbled onto some other time saving features- but they may have been in PSE 4 and I hadn't noticed it.

Thanks for the info. PSE 5 is looking pretty good. There are enough different things from PSE 4 that it might be worth buying.

Chere,
I downloaded the same free-trial of PSE5. With 9days yet to go, it locked up on me when I was saving my work. A message said that my virtual memory was running low and that Windows was trying to make adjustments. After restarting my pc, I received the error message: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." Have you experienced this problem?
