Wow Richard! Thanks for popping in and sharing some of your knowledge with us!
Some of the things I missed in PSE was the aligning thing (which you seem to have taken care of) and also the ability to manipulate brushes. I can't think of anything else off the top of my head, but it has been quite a while since I used PSE.
I'm sure the information you can share will be very helpful to members here.

You can manipulate brushes, all you need to do is change the options on the options bar. Unless I misunderstand. You have some very cool additional options using the additional brush tools that you can access when you have chosen the Brush tool (the brush setting dynamics on the otions bar).

Does tat help?

Richard

Unfortunately, I uninstalled PSE when I got PS. But, I'm sure it will help our members who do you PSE.

richard, how great to see you here! i'm trying to help someone with pse2 and it's frustrating. i have ps7. right now my issues are
1. changing the drop shadow (i just downloaded actions from your site and saw custom drop shadow so i need to check that out)
2. can you adjust the leading, spacing, kerning, tracking?
3. doesn't seem like you can make a text box? i can live without that if i can manipulate text more.
that's all for this moment anyway. i need to spend some time checking it out, before i try to help someone! Ü

You are the first to make the tracking/kearning request. I CAN do it...but you can't...YET. I will get that on my scope and hopefully have it out as an enhancement soon!

Richard

PS -- in other words I would have thought that would have been requested a LONG time ago...Thanks for asking!

"I have align on center in the book's tools, and can easily add align right, left, bottom and top."

Richard
I would find it very useful to have these. Also, the leading and kearning. These are some of the things I've found missing from PSE vs. other programs I've used.

I haven't got your book & CD yet, but it's on my list.

Thanks
Carole
