In the past 3 or 4 days, I can no longer use the marquee tool to mark and area and then get it to "fill layer." This has worked well for me in the past, ever since I did my 1st page using the SBB tutorial.

I also can't get anything to change color - I've downloaded 3 sets of instructions and watched a couple of tutorials on the subject - no dice!

I reset the tools, but I'm wondering if I need to reinstall the program?

This is fixed - I had to reboot for another problem and it all works fine now!
