I think something some people need to remember. That Photoshop was not created as Scrapbooking software. Photoshop has been around long before scrapbooking (digital). So Photoshop is not going to offer tuts on how to do a "scrapbook layout". That is why digi scrapbooking people have started creating tuts.

Just an FYI

Better today

Ok, so I reread and worked with Stacey's tut. and I'm starting to understand the process better. It's not so bad afterall...but wow...there's lots to learn. I appreciated the previous post because I really, honestly didn't know this is not a layout program....duh!!
Oh well, I'm past a lot of the frustration I was feeling yesterday...thanks to Stacey's very good plain language tutorial. I know and appreciate how very knowledgeable Stacey is and that she could take herself back to the very basic need to know stuff to creat this really helpful tut.
Hugs!!

Hi Lisa,
I am new to this forum and I do have a question...or the need for a tutorial...in PSE2. I have been digiscrapping for about two months, and I love it. I found PSE very easy to learn the basics. My question is: How can I make a "pedigree chart" overlay? I have been scrapping my family heritage and would like to include the pedigrees. I thought, if it was in the form of an overlay, I would be able to enter different information on each layout I do. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I would love to have a blinkie (animated) tutorial. I would like to know how to move papers from kits I own to elements added, as well as, text and pics. To make an organized blinking blinkie.

I would love to tweek what I have to actually make my own instead of getting them from others. Thanks.

Anything and everything! I am new to digi scrapping. I've made a few lo from downloaded freebies! Thank goodness for freebies, especially the quick pages! I need the basics....from step 1 all the way through. I've tried using the brush tool with no success! Yesterday I was messing around trying to figure out how to use a "grungy effect" to the edges of papers with brushes....never could get it.....wanted to use a colored paper with a darker shade for the brush and could not even do that.

Well...

...Alrighty then! As you can see, I am a bit behind in getting PSE tutorials written, but I do have a few in process to be posted in the next few days.

And now, I have more to add to the pile ~~ Y'all make a girl feel needed, LOL!!

MEANWHILE... please take a look at all the nifty tutorials already written for PSE and PS here (PhotoShop) and here (PSE) to see if we haven't already addressed your question. Note that you may need to click at the BOTTOM of the page to see more Articles/Tutorials ~~ they go back a few pages!
