Lisa -

I think the biggest issue right now in my mind is usability. The current organization makes it very difficult to find the tutorial that I am looking for. However it does sound like this is being addressed.

It is great to see that this is an area of interest for sbb. Now if someone would just create a wonderful, comprehensive book on how to digiscrap with PS they would make a mint!

I just bought PSE4 on e-bay for $48! Yay! I've used PSE2 that came with my camera, but wanted to upgrade b/c of a course I'm going to be taking about designing.

I started digi-scrapbooking with PSP 9. I love it. However, I think there is more info and free stuff and tutorials out there for PS and PSE. So I bought PSE 3. It isn't too bad. I think I am going to find the organizer really helpful, once I understand how to use it. I have tagged everything-photos, elements, papers, etc. I would now like to be able to batch, or categorize, or stack things now. Would this make a good tut?

Wow, debbiel!

You have been very industrious!!! I think that would make a great tutorial ~~ I know we have some info about the organizer, but there is SO much we can do with it!

You might want to check out the PhotoShop tutorial section as well ~~ a lot of those will apply to PSE, as well.

I have a request-

how can you resize several pictures easily. right now if i want 4 pictures to be the same size i just go ahead and "eye ball" each.

can we have a tutorial on how to make lettering/elements the same size?
if i want to use a tag to spell out a word, say 10 tags how can i duplicate that easily?

Oh i forgot to add I'm using PSE 3.0

I was thinking about this again this weekend as I was trying to create. I would love to see something about the actual application of many of the techniques used. It is great to talk about how get a brush on the page, but how is it typically used for a layout?

Perhaps the first tutorial is how to create a basic page, then you could build against this with follow on tutorials - how to use a brush... how to use cookie cutter, etc.

Just a thought.

This may sound silly, but even a list of what's "glitchy" in one version vs. another would be helpful. I was watching a tutorial about PSE 4.0 yest and several times the "teacher" commented that this or that was a little bit difficult in PSE 4.0 - all things I'd noticed before, but it was nice to know that it's the program and not me!

My wish list

LOL...I wish I could learn how to do a layout with this blankety blank program. I just bought it a few days ago, and I guess I thought I was going to install it and be off and running. It's quite different from the drag and drop procedures I have in photosuite.
It's really bizarre because I can already make frames, do drop shadows, etc. but do you think they've told me how to actually create a layout....put things together?? I have done one very simple layout...everything has bevelled edges, drop shadows and I made a lovely frame, but I had to copy and paste everything onto my background because I don't know any other way to get everything on there. I am creating new layers, but my files and photos are opening in a box below the work area ....so how do I get them on the layer??? Ok...whew....I feel better now that I got this off my chest. Going to read Stacy's tutorial again.
Hugs!!
