Where did all my zipped downloads go??

HELP---
Yes, Newbie here. Last night, for the very first time, I downloaded some papers and elements (several things) and saved them in "my documents" - my pictures, in folders - papers, elements, frames, etc. I just went to PSE 2 to try and unzip and open them, and nothing is showing - nothing is there.

What the scrap did I do wrong?
Thanks in advance for anyone's help -

don't worry, hun, they are probably still there, but PSE wouldn't recognise the zip files

you need to browse to the folder from your desktop, find the files, and unzip them there -

and then PSE will be able to read the png and jpg files that are inside of the zip file

holler again if you still can't find them
hugs

Hi Deb F -
Thank you for you prompt response to my yell for HELP!!
I struggled, but I finally went to my C drive, and found my "my pictures" and there they were! Hooray! And as soon as i clicked on them the unzip manager come on and helped me! All files are now open and zip's deleted. I have written this down so I don't forget.

I think I knew this, but I just was so upset to think all those files were gone...Thank you again for helpign me!
