PSE 4 - cheaper?

Hi. I was a newbie using PSE3, and now I have some experience and a 20 layouts or so behind me. I've downloaded the trial version of PSE4, and love how it solves some PSE3 problems (gotta love the magic extractor!!). I would like to purchase PSE3, but $80-$90 is just too steep for me when PSE3 isn't that old (and hubby remembers THAT cash outlay!) . So, does anybody know how/where I could maybe get it cheaper - sorry to be this way, I'm just broke right now!

Thanks.

know whats funny - at least to me - haha

i have pse 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0....i only use 3.0 now...i just prefer it over the other versions for some reason.

anyways, try ebay. you can get "copies" that wont have the manuals or original box. but they are still the exact program w/ registration code, etc. i, personally have not bought anything, but i know of some who have!

I am not sure if you have a COSTCO near you but those have them a lot cheaper than 80-0. I believe when i last checked it was $50-60! That might help too!

I was shopping at Costco last weekend (I bought PSE 2.0 there a couple of years ago) and PSE 4.0 was $79.99. I'm trying to figure out if I need to spring for it or just use PSE 2.0 until I get the feel of designing my own LO's (I'm a newbie!!!)

Hope you can find it cheaper....may want to check out Adobe's website, www.adobe.com. I think I saw it on their website for $69.99.

I am a newbie using Photoshop 1 probably, but just last night I bought PSE 4 at Office Max, it was $99.99 with a $20 instant rebate and a $20 mail in upgrade rebate. If you have an older version of PSE you can get it for $59.99 with the mail in upgrade rebate.

HTH,
Tiare.
