I am experimenting with making my own paper by creating patterns. I tried the Layer>Fill>Pattern, but don't much care for the exactness of the pattern fill. Is there a way to make the pattern more random? I tried the pattern stamp tool and I haven't really gotten the hang of it. I unchecked "alligned" and it seems like I choose a brush (any brush) and kinda click and erase (kinda like erasing a layer mask). But what I can't figure out is that when I click, that's where I would THINK the pattern would show up when I start brushing, but that's not always the case. It could be about an inch or so from where I click where the pattern shows up...or I will sometimes get the pattern to stamp over another pattern instead of NEAR it. Clear as mud? What am I doing wrong?
