'Finalizing' Atomic Cupcake actions

I have been using the Atomic Cupcake plugins - especially TORN and CHIPBOARD.

How do I 'finish' using them?

i.e. once the action is completed in it's own window, I go back to the original, DELETE the original, then drag and drop the completed action into it's place.

Is there an easier way?

Once the action is completed, deselect it (sometimes the action selects both the object as well as the border around the object). Then reselect it (I use Ctrl-Click on the layer icon for PSE3). Click Edit-Copy. Then go to your layout window and click Edit-Paste Into Selection. This will replace the originally selected object with the Atomic Cupcake'd object.

Ugh, I wish I could get to that point! I tried installing the action into my PSE3. Deleted the cache files and then opened the program, typed and then tried to get the action going.

All I got when I tried to double click on the action in the effects palette (which says 'original' instead of the Atomic Cupcake logo) it shows me a circle with a slash button. I am assuming the machine is telling me I didn't do it right.

HELP!

Make sure the whole folder (which contains both files) gets into your previews folder; then delete your cache again.

Maybe this might help? It's for PS but should be roughly the same for PSE http://scrapbook-bytes.com/cgi-scrip...icle_413.shtml
