OK experts: Using the Instant Tag Feature in PSE4

Calling all PSE 4 Organizer Experts! Is there a way to click Edit and then Select All and then apply the Instant Tag feature to all highlighted items at once without having to click on each and every folder to highlight its files and then clicking on Instant Tag? I have over 21,000 elements stored in folders by designer/kit name. I would like to import them into the Organizer and apply tags with the same names that I had for the folders. Thereafter, I will be tagging with descriptive names, but it is going to take me forever to get the initial tags done since I have so many folders! There has GOT to be a quicker and easier way! Can anyone help me?

Thank you!

Well, not sure if this is what you're looking for but this is what I do...

I import my kits BY KIT. Then I SELECT ALL, then CTRL/SHIFT/T to add a caption. I make the caption the kit name & designer. When everything is still selected, I tag it with whatever category it goes into (Feminine/Masculine/Baby/etc...)... then I go through and tag items like ribbons, metals, etc....

It's taken me a while, but I'm reaping the benefits when I'm looking for something!
