I'm a Mac user and want to get into digital scrapping, does anyone here scrap on a Mac? Looking for some help to get started. Thanks!

I know that a lot of people use Macs here. Hopefully they will get back to you, but I wanted to say that you can always download trial versions of programs and use them for 30 days to see if you like it before you buy it.

Adobe started out with its Photoshop on macs, and the Photoshop Elements is a pretty powerful program for under $100. You can download the trial version here: www.adobe.com/support/downloads/ . The PSE 4 hasn't been released for the Mac yet due to Mac code issues but PSE 3 should give you the basic idea of the program and if you end up purchasing it, they probably will end up upgrading you to 4 for free or greatly reduced depending on when it does finally come out. I use PSE 3 (on a PC) and it really is a powerful, easy to use program (once you overcome the initial learning curve). I have big boy photoshop too, but I use PSE for 99% of my stuff because its what I'm used to.

But I'm sure others will tell you that their program is the best too! Whatever program you decide, make sure you do the beginner tutorials here, it really does help! Good luck and ask any more questions you have!

I don't think I will be much help since I am a REAL newbie at digital scrapbooking but I use PSE3 for my Mac. I am running OSX10.4. If I can help at all, I will. Otherwise I will let those more experienced with digital scrapbooking help you! Merry Christmas! Judy

Point me in the right direction for help, too. My daughter has a MAC but hasn't been able to get PSE3 to work on it.

I use PSE3 on my imac G5. I love it. I used to use a pc and I had PSP. I have found PSE on the mac really great! I HIGHLY recommend it!

I use PSE3 on my iMac G5 as well and I love it! I used it on my former PC, but when I upgraded I went with a Mac. It's been almost a year and I'm loving it so far.

Did you find the help you needed to get started? I've been using PSE3 on my Mac since last spring. I absolutely LOVE it!! How are you doing now?

I scrap on a Mac with PSCS but I've heard great things about PSE. People seem to really love the program. Me, I wouldn't trade my PSCS for anything but I've been using PS for over 5 years for my job so I'm a little biased.
