This is totally crazy!! I'm using PSE3 on a Mac. All of a sudden I'm not able to create a new document or open a document without using the browse pane. The choices are grayed out in the File menu. AND the Preferences and Quit choices are grayed out in the Photoshop Elements drop-down menu. I can only quit when right clicking the Photoshop Elements icon in my dock and choosing Quit.

What could I possibly have selected or clicked to make this happen? I've already exited (right clicking the icon in the dock) and gotten back in. The same thing is happening. I had this happen once before, last week. But I got out because it was late and then just opened it another day and it was fine.

This is really bugging me! I really can't do anything!! Help!!!
