store info with my layout?

I use PSE3 on a Mac. The question I have is if it is possible to store information with my layout. What is mean is when I build my layout it would be nice if there was somewhere I could state what kit I used and where it is from so that I can have that information together somewhere. It would be very helpful for changes and for posting.

Does anyone know if this is possible.
Thanks

There should be way to add comments to the properties of the layout... perhaps if you look under the image info tab (or whatever it is called in PSE), you will find a section where you can add comments. If you save the file as a .jpg.. you should have access to edit ITPC data as well where you can add comments to one of the data text boxes within or outside of PSE3. Good Luck!

I've been doing something I learned from naomi. It's worked great for me.

I create a new layer at the top of my LO, fill with white and reduce to 50% opacity.
Then I use the text tool to write down everything I used and who made it.
I then turn the visability of those 2 layers off.
The info is always there with the LO. I even cut and paste from the text layer when I upload my photos, so I don't have to retype everything.

hth!

Another way to do is to use the File Info window. You can get to in PSE by click on the File menu and then selecting File Info.

There are fields for Author, Title, Description (this is where I put all my credits and even a copy of my journaling), and Copyright information. All of this is visible in your file browser (I assume this is true for Macs since it does work on my PC) when you view the files properties.

HTH! And however you decide to do it great job on keeping track of all you credits!
