How do you make a brush out of a .png format?

I want to make a brush out of a .png format from Angie Brigg's doodle brushes from ScrapArtist.com. How do I do that with PSE 3? I have some of them downloaded already in my presets.brushes folder, but what do I do next? TIA!!!

Okay I'm not sure if pse is the same as ps when it comes to this but what I do is open what I want in my brush folder and then go to Edit > define brush.

Lori is totally correct that you do it the same in PSE as in PS. Just remember that once you have defined your brush it's on temporarily saved in PSE. You need to save out the brush set so you can easily load it again.

Here's how to save a brush set in PSE:
**Go to the Preset Manager (Edit>Preset Manager)
**Make sure that Brushes is selected and select the brushes that you want to save as a brush set. You can CTRL click to select more than one brush.
**Click the Save Set button.
**Save in the default brush location or another if you want. Whatever name you save the brush set as it the name it will appear under with the brush tool

HTH! Please holler if you have more questions.

Brandi,

Lori's method should work for initially creating the brush from an image. Make sure that you opened the PNG file and that each image that you want to be a brush is by itself.

If you're still having troubles with this PLEASE PM me and I'll walk you through it.
