need help right away!

okay, i've been banging my head against the wall and i know there's a simplw way to do this and i'm just not seeing it. I have a layout and i did a bunch of brushwork on it, i can see the brushwork fine but when i go to resize it and save for web the brushwork goes away, everything else on the layout is there the brushwork is just gone. I used the mask mode and i work used pse 3 with this layout. how do you save your brushwork, i usually use ps7 and never ran into this problem. the brushes i used on this won't work with ps7 but they work with pse3 so that's why i used it. i would really appreciate any help with this-thanks!

okay...nevermind...i figured it out. I had to go back over the original lines on my layout with a new brush so the brushwork is pretty thick, but it will do ok. I figured out what i was doing wrong!

FYI - The reason your brushes worked in PSE3 and not PS7 was that they were created in PSCS (or possibly PSE3 ). If you're more comfortable in PS7, you could recreate the brushes in PS7. First open the brush set in PSE3 and put an individual black brush shape on a layer. With just that layer displayed, save a PNG file. Open the PNG file in PS7 and define the brush.

HTH! and I'm glad you figured out a solution to your problem.

Thanks so much for your reply! I'm going to try that. By the way, I love the bill cosby quote you have at the bottom of your sig. I have a quote of his about his brother on the chalkboard in my kitchen right now (i try to put a new one up every month), i think he's the greatest.
