I just purchased a new laptop.

Currently on my regular home PC, I have all my photos and items tagged in PSE. If I install PSE on my new lap top and copy all my photos and kits over in the exact directory structure as they are on my PC, will they still be tagged on my laptop?

You have to bring over the catalog (or .PSA) file also. This is the file that really manages all the tags and such. It should not cause you an issue. If you have changed the directory structure slightly there is a way for PSE Organizer to go find your files and that works well even if it can take a while to complete.

Are you planning to just use your laptop now or use it along with your PC?

Yes, I'm moving everything over to a new Laptop which I bought just for scrapbooking.

Hope the transition is smooth!

If you decide to run the Organizer on your laptop and the desktop concurrently, holler and I have some tips on that.

My laptop is just for going to scraps and surfing while I'm keeping an eye on my boys.
