Which program do you have? Do you alread have the fonts to download?

You can download fonts at: www.dafont.com and others if you haven't already.

For photoshop I put my fonts in:

Program Files>Common Files>Adobe>Fonts

Hope that helps! --heather

Actually, you could just add your fonts to your system, and then they will automatically load in Photoshop. I do this because I want them also available in my word processor.

Just download, unzip and remember where you unzipped them (very important!). Then go to C:Windows/Fonts and click on File, and then Install new font. When that dialog box opens, just browse until you find the unzipped fonts (it will find them once you have it in the right folder), and then press Install. Then you can open PSE, or your word processor, etc. and your fonts will be there!

Talking why are you all so helpful!?

I finally seeked help in installing fonts here and of course, I found that someone else needed help too and as usual, you had the answer. Now my fonts are installed perfectly and quickly. This is THE BEST site I have ever ever utilized for anything!!!!!!!

OK.. but be CAREFUL! If you go crazy and download a ton of fonts (like most of us do) and then just install them all in the Windows/Fonts folder... everything will be much slower. When you boot up.. the system will be slower because windoze needs to load all the fonts. When you kick of elements, boy will it slow down because adobe is reading and creating previews for EVERY font...

It is much better to only activate those fonts you need when you are working on a layout. I use a 3rd party font viewer (printer's apprentice) to preview, organize and activate/deactive my fonts as I need them. This is the approach anyone who has over 300 fonts should use.. unless you don't mind the wait while they are loaded!

Thanks!

Ok,Thanks for the tip!!! I definitely don't have 300 fonts, but it probably doesn't take long to accumulate them! I hate that it already takes a 30 seconds for PSE to load. I am very impatient like that!
