Is there any way to make the menu bigger in PSE3?

I can not see the itty-bitty words (file, edit, image etc.) I swear it wasn't like this in PSE2. I know my eyes are bad, but come on! I have searched and searched for a way to make them bigger. DH thinks it might be because I'm not using an apple computer?
Any suggestions?
