Problems with pinch filter... PSE 3

I'm sure it's user error, but everytime I want to "pinch" a ribbon through an eyelet -or something along those lines- I select the area to pinch, apply the filter and I get a pinch within the ribbon, but the sides don't come in... i don't know if that makes sense or not, but I'm only getting the distortion on the INSIDE of the ribbon and the sides don't pinch in... any ideas???

Thanks for the help!

I haven't tried the Pinch filter (not even sure where it is), but here's another way you could do it -- go to Distort>Liquify and when the menu pops up, there is a tool there that will pinch your ribbon. Use [ or ] to make your brush size the correct size and pinch away. There's also several other useful tools under Liquify you might like if you haven't tried it before.

Hope that helps!

Pinch

Christina,

Thank you for the information--I've been pinching my ribbon in another manner but it wasn't working like I wanted. This way was much easier!
