are you running any other programs while working like yahoo or aim? whats running in your start up posted down by your clock anyting in the start up takes up ram running any other programs takes up ram I run 512 and have run into those problems just make sure you dont run any other programs when working. if you have anything in your start up you do not need take it out. that should help a little
