Yes, I have scanned in the photograph mode 300dpi. I also scanned at a higher dpi but it was still fuzzy! Now, when I scan the photo copy from the copy center onto the scanner and print, it's less fuzzy.
The software for the scanner is from 2002. I think it's rather old.
