I know PI and DIP are fairly similar so I thought i'ld share how i've acheived the sanded look around a photo. First I matted the picture so that both the mat and picture appeared sanded together. Do not however group the picture and mat. You want your picture selected then click on Edges (mine is under Effects) Art Stroke. Just play around with the "brushes" and width. I set the color to white. HTH
