Hi! I have the Canon i9900 and I just love it. I bought it from Newegg for approx $425. I only use Canon paper and ink with it. I usually buy my 13x19 paper at Newegg - last time I checked, they were selling 20 sheets of matte for only 11.99 plus 4.99 in fedex shipping - that's a great price and almost 1/2 the price that Amazon was selling it for at that same time. I always check both places for comparison shopping. Haven't checked lately because I'm well stocked up. I buy the glossy or matte 8.5x11 paper at Staples - they usually have a buy one/get one free sale going on.

Last time I checked, Newegg had cheaper prices for the individual ink tanks, but Amazon had a package deal for the entire 8 which wound up being cheaper than buying them all individually at Newegg.

I have not computed down to the last penny, exactly how much it costs me to print out a 12x12. But, I figured out approximately that it's more, but not too much more, than going to, say, Kinko's where, for a bit less, I could only get an 11x11 printed on their laser paper. To get a true 12x12 was almost $8 per print! Even though it may be a bit more per print to print them out myself, I prefer having my own printer and being in control of the type of paper I use, the size I can print, and print what I want, when I want.

HTH!
