LOL! Maybe I should have you "talk" to my step-mother!! They're about 3hrs away from me in Eastern Kentucky! My mother passed away in 1985 and dad married this woman 4yrs. later. He was lonely. She's OK but I think she knows how much in love with my mother my dad still is. He talks alot about mom and even gave me all the love letters he wrote to her when he was fighting in the Korean war. I'm not supposed to read them and I'm supposed to sneak them into his casket and have them buried with him when he dies! Geeze!! What he doesn't know (yet) is that I will be scanning the outside of some of these to use in a lo. They're still wrapped in the blue satin ribbon my mother tied them with
Anyway I think your right too on the fact that it seems sometimes family (and friends) just don't realize just how much work and time these lo's take. I have a aunt that I'd LOVE to do a book for. She and her dh rave over my gallery and of course that makes me feel like a big shot!
