Beware...

Just since this has been brought up a few times in the last couple of days...

I checked into the differences between the PhotoShop Album starter edition, that came free with my PSCS, and I think you can also dl the starter edition free at adobe's site. Someone mentioned a few days back that PhotoShop Album could save the keywords when you backed up your files onto a CD...

I've discovered this is true of the full paid $50 version(on sale now for $40), but not true of the PhotoShop Album Started Edition(Free)... So, I decided to wait to name/punch in all those keywords in there until I buy the full version, as I really don't want to do all that work twice...

I have a tons of picture files on my PC I want to back up... I'm ashamed I haven't done it in a long time(about 3 months)... I just loved the idea of the fact that was mentioned when we typed in the keywords and backed it up, that all of that was also saved attached to the file, in case we ever lost all of those pix files, the keywords were already there again, and we wouldn't have to retype them in.

As far as the Font Organizer... I use to have a couple programs that did this, but then discovered one of the newer CK upgrades to CK Fresh Fonts w/Organizer would allow the CK program to keep up with all my fonts in 4 catagories(Installed, Stored, Cataloged, not installed), and then I can view them right there within the program... So that's a free option if you already had that CD... If I think of the name of the 2 programs, I'll repost...
