defintely offload all the fonts you don' t need and just keep the ones that you use on a daily/weekly basis loaded.

Using a font manager is a super idea.. BTW: if you take a look at a good media organizer (thumbsplus, extensis portfolio, picasa), they all allow you to keep all your files organized in a single program.

For example, I use the program to catalog all my photos, clip art, fonts and embellishments. I assign keywords to all the files such as good, family, fancy, title, etc.. then, when I am looking for a fancy, title font, I just do a search and the system provide me just those fonts and shows me a thumbnail of what they look like. I then install the font, use it and uninstall it again.

Same goes for photos and embellishments, papers, textures.. you name it.. Stay organized!
