Thanks so much Tandika! BTW the fabric fringing went nicely LOL! I tried your instruction for that this morning and it turned out pretty well. I'll give this a go!
DawnMcD - threading ribbon through a buckle.......I'm not sure how well I will word this.....you basically place your ribbon, then place the buckle at the location you want it to thread through making sure the layer of the buckle is beneath the layer of the ribbon. Then you duplicate your ribbon layer and put that duplicated layer on the top of everything else. So you have 2 ribbon layers with a buckle layer sandwiched in between. Then paying attention to what layer you have selected, you use the eraser tool to erase whatever portion of that layer shouldn't be there - to end up with a visual of it being threaded through. You kind of have to try it kwim? Once you have it looking like you want, link your 3 pieces and do a "merge linked" to make them one unit. Hope that will help ya - if not, I'm sorry, I'm fairly new myself and I kind of ask for hints on how to get myself started and then just play with stuff to figure it out. Not sure that I have the gift of explaining them though!
