png vs. jpg

You most likely would want to print the .png file. PNG is a "lossless" format. What that means is that every time you open and/or print that file it will be EXACTLY the same. JPG is a compression formula, and it is considered to be "lossy"... meaning even if you save it with as little compression as possible, there will be some loss. Also, every time you open/print it, it will be slightly different.

Keep in mind, you may not be able to tell the difference, so you may want to do some experimentation to see what works best for you.
