You don' t have to delete all the brushes you do NOT want if you use the PRESET MANAGER. You can get to it by clicking on the little arrow at the top right of the brushes palette.

In the Preset Manager window, highlight the brushes you want to save, then click on the save button, and give your new set a unique name.

It will save ONLY the ones you've highlighted.
