Ok, I keep seeing instructions for various effects that recommend using the "eraser tool," which I assume is for Photoshop. I'm a DIP 9 girl, though, and I'm not finding said eraser tool....Smart erase doesn't do it because it fills in the space with pattern, etc. I've tried to select the eraser brush in the paintbrush effect, but that's a no-go as well, that seems to do NOTHING.....

I have been doing silhouette-style cropping by selecting the freehand selection tool, outlining the offending space, and clicking the wee scissors for cut....is this the best way, or is there a freehand eraser that I'm not finding?
