My DH and I are interested in international adoption and might go that route in a year or two.
If you will be doing a lifebook for your son, I recommend going to scrapandtell.com, which is geared towards int'l adoption, to see examples of LOs for birthfamily pages, adoption day pages, etc. The site also runs a Yahoo! group of the same name where you can ask other adoptive mothers questions as they come up.
