As many of you know, I do not have kids and lead a perfectly happy life with my husband and two cats. Naturally, Mothers' Day is not something we give much of a thought to in this household.
However! I received a card in the mail the other day. Ostensibly it was from the cats, but between you and me, my cats aren't that clever to be able to write and send a card to me. [Heavens, it has been a huge struggle all these years just to get them to say their names!

The card reads:
"A Mother's Day Haiku from the Cats:
Nice lady pets me
Scoops the poop out of my box
I call her mommy [mummy]"
Inside it says "Happy Mother's Day
Love, The Cats"
Can you believe this? It was a RAK from one of my friends but so far I have been unable to pin it down to whom!
Anyhow, just thought I'd share my special day too...
