I have found that if I copy tagged items to my EHD using ACDSee the information goes with them. A great resource for ACDSee is Digiscrapinfo.com. They have a forum dedicated to ACDSee and also several tutorials. I think there is one about using ACDSee with multiple EHDs but haven't read it yet. They pretty quick to respond to questions.
