I am so upset, I guess I need a vent!!!

I can't believe some people out there, to tell you the story, we have recently bought a house, which is a bit away from the school bus root, and my 6 year old (asthmatic) has to walk more or less 20 minutes each way to get to the bus in the morning, we are talking sevenish, whilst I dress and get to school her little sis. Then she has to come home for lunch (i.e. another walk and back to the bus in an hour) and finally comes home in the evening. At the worst of her asthma, she can not make this walk in under half an hour, and I don't drive, nor have we the funds for the second car anyway, and the times for school and nursery are different, so we bought her the scooter which seemed to have solved the problem. She has started to make the same road in ten minutes, and is nowhere as tired as she used to be. Today coming back from school we find there is no scooter there. Dad bought it for her 8th of March International Women's day here. Somebody took it! I am feeling really quite sick, somebody left the old scooter that I am using to take the little one to her nursery on, and took the shiny new one. You should have seen her face, when she couldn't find it. She kept looking and looking as if it would appear there again if she only turned away for a minute, she couldn't believe it, to tell you the truth I couldn't either. I am only hoping that one of the bigger kids has taken it for a prank, and it would turn up again... They took the old one once when it was newer and threw it in the pit behind the bins once this winter, I climbed into it to recover it. But this time it is not even there... And we live in such a beautiful sweet village, where you can hardly believe that people can ever be mean... I am quite shocked Sorry to vent off like that, I just wish I could have a word with the one who made my little one so sad. The lessons of life I would have gladly postponed!
