I've been a medical transcriptionist for 22 years and have worked at home for the last 12.

I wouldn't recommend At-Home Professions for medical transcription training. I know many people who paid their money, took the course and couldn't get a job.

There are schools that are approved by AHDI which is the association for medical transcriptionists. Approved schools partner with transcription companies who will hire graduates of the approved schools even if they have no experience.

I am currently mentoring people who want to be a medical transcriptionist.
