I got stopped by the police last night, after a trip to Dollar Tree, with my 7 year old son; who is developmentally delayed.

My son saved a dollar worth of quarters, so he wanted to buy a Coke, & I let him.

After the officer walked up to the car, I knew what I was in trouble for, & I was right. Expired tags.

Before the officer had a chance to say anything my son said to him, "Come here sir. It's not beer I promise!"

Turns out my son's charm worked. I didn't get a ticket.
