What programs did you have loaded on your computer? I have noticed that if I remove a program from my cmputer sometimes the fonts included with it are also removed from the computer. It was mostly with the quickie scrapbook programs like Scrapbook Factory, Broderbonds Print shop, Perfect Scrapbook Maker etc. Sometimes the font files are stored in a hidded location (in XP) somewhere in the Documents and user Settings> Aplication Data and such. I remeber the folder name was called Core Fonts and it was inside a folder based on the company (I think) . I had a favorite font that I kept losing I finally learned to copy the Core Fonts folder to another location and then I had those fonts after I uninstalled the program they came with.
