My kids are troopers at making remarks when you do not want to hear them.....Specially my oldest Jeroen he's the master of disaster trust me....
I think Jeroen was 3 and jelled 'I want I want' everytime he wanted something. In stores, in lines in front of the checkout you know those candy racks, and at home when he wanted chips, watch a movie and so on. You know the toddler fits and tantrums and such.
I always nicely replied, 'You should know what mommy wants!'
So 1 day my DH was in a lovely mood, and while I replied my 'you should know what mommy wants'; Dh blurts out 'your mom wants to get laid....'
The next day I stand in line in front of the check out at our very loacl in the street supermarket. everyone knows everyone there and the cash girls and store workers are all teens from the streets we live and walk daily.
So Jeroen comes with his famous sentence 'I want candy, I want candy, I want cady..."
I reply 'You should know what mommy wants'.
Before I can blink he replies 'yes mom you want to get laid we all know THAT'.
How you wish to vanish in thin air at such a moment.
And there are a lot of situations that I wished he would keep his mouth shut...
