Lori's right- I have learned alot about making elements through tutorials - even stitching. If you don't find what your are looking for in the tuts here check on the "Resources" tab at the top of the forum page for additional offsite resources.
I have some of the Nitwits stuff and after a close look alot of the dimension with the stitching is probably achieved with the dodge and burn tools... but haven't played with that myself yet. Just a hunch.
