Alicia I'm not exactly sure what you are asking. Never done a template before? A crop/chat? I'll try to answer any of these questions:
Chat is at 11 pm - I will give out link to the template which you use for a layout. Directions are provided with the template on how to use a template if you never have.
Chat is easy - log into the chat room (link above) - type your name and then log in as Guest. Say Hello and have fun!
Since everyone who attends gets a freebie (the template) - I will give out one random gc for $5 to anything in my store to anyone who posts with a layout by midnight Sunday.
